METHODS

The course is based on the latest research into the way that Adults acquire a second language. This research is focused upon the language skills needed in a business context. Because of this, you should find our approach quite different from the way you may have learned languages at an earlier age.

You will work in small groups or pairs. You will be communicating from the beginning to the end of the course in the everyday situations you are most likely to meet. Listening exercises will be task-based and relevant to business needs.

Emphasis will be on gaining confidence and getting your message across comfortably.

N.B. The above course is aimed at beginners or false beginners (i.e. "rusty" or wanting to increase confidence).
